Vehicle Condition & Liability Policy

DETAIL BY HUGO LLC is not liable or responsible for any pre-existing, worn, damaged, loose, or potentially failing components or parts of a vehicle. Due to normal wear and tear, age, or the existing condition of the vehicle, any known cosmetic or mechanical issues should be brought to our attention before the detail appointment begins. Extra care will be taken around these areas; however, if we identify defective materials, deteriorated surfaces, or loose-fitting parts, we may be unable to properly clean or service those areas.

Examples may include, but are not limited to, chipping or peeling paint, oxidized or failing clear coat on paint or wheels, cracked or damaged leather, deteriorated weather stripping or rubber trim, loose interior or exterior components, and other age-related wear.

Please ensure that your vehicle's battery is in proper working condition before your appointment. Certain detailing procedures require vehicle doors, trunk, or other compartments to remain open for an extended period, which may drain a weak or aging battery. DETAIL BY HUGO LLC is not responsible for a vehicle battery that becomes discharged or fails due to its pre-existing condition.

DETAIL BY HUGO LLC is not responsible for repairing or replacing any existing or pre-existing malfunction, damage, defect, or breakage involving the vehicle's mechanical, electrical, electronic, cosmetic, or other components, whether discovered during or after the detailing appointment. If an issue requires professional repair, we may be able to refer you to a qualified automotive repair or body shop.
